Up Next: LeBron

Jonas Jerebko's first start pitted him against Vince Carter. Since then, he's faced everybody from Hedo Turkoglu to Brandon Roy and held his own. Now he's bracing for LeBron James as the Pistons host Cleveland on Wednesday. See True Blue Pistons.

Firing Blanks

The Pistons have three proven scorers left with injuries to Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince and Ben Gordon, and all three struggled in Friday's loss to Clippers, wasting a breakout night for Jonas Jerebko. Read True Blue Pistons for the lowdown.

Recap: Clippers 104, Pistons 96

The Pistons played hard all game but lost their seventh consecutive contest as the Clippers steadied in the second half to win it. Despite the stout efforts of Will Bynum, Rodney Stuckey and rookies Jonas Jerebko and Austin Daye, the Clippers, with Chris Kaman prominent in the final period, made the most of their opportunities at the line.

Clippers 104 - Detroit 96: The Rollercoaster Continues

... NBA scrub to torch them. Well, our sole Swedish Clippers fan can enlighten us on the wonders of Jonas Jerebko . But I, for one, have never heard of the kid who torched us for a career high 22 points on 8-11 shooting. More than the blown rotations and our weak perimter defense, however, this game was nearly lost on the defensive glass. We gave up 19 offensive rebounds to Detroit, most...

Clippers 104, Pistons 96- What happened in the 4th?

... their roster, Gordon, Hamilton, and Prince. This forced Detroit to play Austin Daye 33+ minutes, Jonas Jerebko 34 minutes, and actually put Chucky Atkins in the game. So the Clippers should have had no problems tonight, right? Wrong. After a first quarter that ended with a 27-27 tie, the Pistons pulled ahead in the second to secure a 54-47 Halftime lead(incidentaly, the Clippers shot...

Prince may return at power forward

The thinking is Austin Daye, Jonas Jerebko, Will Bynum and Ben Gordon (nursing a left ankle sprain) might balk at lesser minutes when the two veterans return. But considering the team is on a seven-game losing streak and stands at 5-11 going into today's home game against the Atlanta Hawks, there really isn't a whole lot they can say but "Please hurry back."

Hobbled Pistons call on rookies

With Ben Gordon's status uncertain for tonight's home date with the Clippers, the focus turns again to the Pistons' rookies. That's nothing new since the focus has been on forwards Jonas Jerebko, Austin Daye and DaJuan Summers since the trio starred in summer league.
