... ready, Fred Jackson. Here I go beating up on the Lions again but, Seattle RBs, Julius Jones and Justin Forsett could have nice games against them. Remember what I said about J. Jones in Seattle. The NY Giants defensive backs have been embarrassed over the last few weeks. Now the pass happy San Diego Chargers and new starting receiver Malcom Floyd come to town. Floyd, in the past has...

We’re down to two. Edgerrin James was shown the door yesterday, leaving the Seahawks with only Julius Jones and Justin Forsett as the only two running backs on the team’s 53-man roster. However, come season’s end, there could be additional shakeups. Julius Jones only has 346 yards and one touchdown on the ground this year. In the seven [...]

... became a luxury the team couldn't afford once it struggled to a 2-5 start, particularly with Justin Forsett backing up the promise he showed during the preseason (minus that fumble Sunday). Seattle's decision makes perfect sense. If they're not going anywhere and will, most likely, not contend for a title, why not give more playing time to other backs who could end up being the future...

... for a cornerback. It was apparent that Dallas wanted to get up on Seattle early. Newman's hit on Justin Forsett that forced a fumble towards the end of the first quarter helped to do just that. After Orlando Scandrick's recovery and return, the turnover gave the offense the ball on the Seattle 30, which led to Marion Barber 's 2-yard score. That put the Cowboys up 14-3. After Nate...

... well enough to build an offense around him. It will be built around the run game. With respect to Justin Forsett , Seattle must add a superstar rusher. Free agency is good for stop gaps and retreads, but this offense needs game-breaking talent. That leaves Seattle looking to the draft to fill its need at back. For purposes of argument, I will presuppose that this year's running back...
