Greetings from the baseball winter meetings in Indianapolis, where Larry Stone and myself will b e on-hand all week. I can tell you that Chone Figgins will take his physical tomorrow and then -- as long as he passes -- the Mariners will announce the four-year, $36-million deal later in the day or early Tuesday. I'd bank on the latter.

As colleague Larry Stone wrote yesterday, FoxSports mentioned the Mariners were pushing hard for British Columbia native Rich Harden to join their starting rotation.
