Seattle had lost its last six road games, all by double digits, but never trailed against St. Louis despite being outgained 213-111 by the Rams in the first half. The Seahawks' leading receiver, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, didn't have a single pass thrown his way in the first two quarters and Louis Rankin's first-quarter fumble was the only turnover in the first two periods.
