...because it will be years before I can read them, but that said, received this week: Mavis Gallant, The Cost of Living: Early and Uncollected Stories . I went through a read-all-the-great-Canadian-authors phase, but overlooked Ms Gallant. Jessa Crispin reminded me that I should get this book. Stefan Zweig, Beware of Pity . I have really enjoyed his stories. This is his only novel....
