By Michael Casagrande For the TimesDaily ATLANTA - If the historical implications of Saturday's game were gnawing on Tim Tebow's psyche, he certainly didn't show it Friday afternoon.

By Michael Casagrande, For the TimesDaily The Georgia Dome clock had yet to reach zeros Saturday afternoon before the taunting began. Alabama fans knew who was coming up next and their "horns down" hand gesture that mocks the index finger and pinky salute famously displayed by Texas fans.

By Michael Casagrande, For the TimesDaily ATLANTA - Chris Rogers is rarely at a loss for words and the Alabama defensive back had plenty of them after Saturday's SEC Championship win. The senior made one tackle, but was full of energy in the postgame locker room.

By Michael Casagrande, For the TimesDaily TUSCALOOSA - With the help of an artificial hamstring, Cory Reamer is confident in his full return to the defense in Saturday's game. Slowed by an injury suffered two weeks ago against Chattanooga, the senior linebacker saw limited action against Auburn after practicing sparingly during the week.

By Michael Casagrande, For the TimesDaily TUSCALOOSA - The Peek family of Ponte Verda, Fla., couldn't be any more of a Gator-centric. There are a handful of Florida Hall of Famers among the generations who did their schooling in Gainesville. Then, there's the self-proclaimed "black sheep" who strayed from the herd.

By Michael Casagrande, For the TimesDaily TUSCALOOSA - Pity the Alabama and Florida offenses that must find ways to attack each other's defense. Statistically, it's almost comical. Realistically, it's nearly unfair.
