After Sunday night's game, they'll need to stick these outside of University of Phoenix Stadium if people are looking for the road to the Super Bowl. View full size photo » The Arizona Cardinals , defending NFC Champions, are well on their way to winning their second consecutive NFC West title this year. If you would have read me that sentence two years ago, I would have told you to send me the...
... victory total (10) in team history. He has captured five division titles and five trips to the NFC Championship game, while earning playoff berths in seven of his first 10 seasons. In that time span, no team has earned more divisional round playoff appearances (7) or championship game appearances (5) than Reid's Eagles." Any other details have not been confirmed.
... record his last nine years as head coach ('79-'87) a period which saw six playoff teams and three NFC Championship Game appearances, was a lukewarm 16-15. That's right, 16-15. I don't recall any talk of December meltdowns back then, or cries for Tom to rush into retirement. Every Cowboys coach has seen good teams, ones that won Super Bowls and went to NFC Championships, lose games...
The flawed but explosive Vikings were the favorites when they came into Giants Stadium for the 2000 N.F.C.championship. The football world was in for a shock.

GreatVin Scully Calls Make three minutes of your time to listen to some wonderful broadcast calls by Vin Scully. There are some great calls on there, including many non-Dodger calls. There's even Scully calling Dwight Clark's catch (" The Catch ") in the 1981 NFC Championship Game. Thanks to Ken Levine, co-host of DodgerTalk, for the link.
... Maybe the Bengals will be the first solid test for the Vikings? Maybe it’ll be the Saints in the NFC Championship. We also talked about how we can’t shake the 1998 Vikings out of our heads. The Buccaneers captured the last meeting prior to the 2002 season, 16-13, in 1998 in Tampa. Tampa Bay knocked off the Panthers in Charlotte on the way to each of its division-best three NFC South titles in 2002, 2005 and 2007. GAME...

Week 12 proved to me that there are two teams really worth mentioning in the NFC, and that the AFC is still wide open no matter which way you look at it. The Saints and the Vikings should have it all locked up pertaining to the two 1st round byes and I would be surprised if any other teams were to meet in the NFC Championship game. Could we have two teams going for perfection? I doubt it, but...
