The bogus attacks on Rick Neuhiesel , published by OC Register's "UCLA Beat Reporter" - Adam Maya (a Trojan alum) - is now running on USA Today . It was also referenced by Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times without noting that Theriot has come forward claiming his comments were bogus. The right thing for Adam Maya to do here would have been (at the very least) post an update on the"UCLA...

Well here is another reason never to trust a "UCLA beat reporter" who happens to be a Trojan alum. It looks like the story concocted by Trojan alum of a UCLA football parent - Brian Theriot' - attacking Coach Rick Neuheisel were totally bogus . Mr. Therior just posted the following message on Bruingold.com : I am Brian Theriot and a loyal Bruin. My Facebook was hacked over 13...

The UCLA student newspaper last week headlined a story "Neuheisel's Team Falling Apart" citing, among other things, freshman receiver Randall Carroll criticizing offensive coordinator Norm Chow on his Twitter page (using some offensive language that drew a rebuke from Neuheisel). And this week, the father of backup fullback Trevor Theriot wrote on his Facebook page about the "sad state...

Former UW and current UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel will face his former team for the second time Saturday. And it was an obvious question on today's Pac-10 coaches conference call to wonder if seeing the Huskies on the other sideline Saturday will hold any special meaning.

LOS ANGELES -- The Pac-10 title is out of reach, and a bowl game is still an iffy proposition. The only concrete goal that UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel can set for his team is to win back-to-back games for the first time in two months.

... I instruct you to go watch the ESPN 30 For 30 USFL documentary, if just for the segment where Rick Neuheisel sings the Gunslingers' fight song. I'd embed it if I could find it.

The Huskies came off their bye week into the stoic Rose Bowlaiming to hand Rick Neuheisel’s UCLA their sixth Pac-10 loss. Instead, the Huskies dropped to 3-6 overall and to 2-4 in conference play with a 24-23 loss. This Saturday’s game was definitely one Washington could have won against one of their weakest opponents. The Bruins struck first on a risky fourth and goal play,...

... the Huskies (3-5, 2-3 in the Pac-10) sorely need Locker to play. If he does, it will give coach Rick Neuheisel and his Bruins worry because of his elusiveness; Locker is the team’s second leading rusher. As an added motivation, UCLA will be wearing throwback jerseys for the first time, honoring the 1967 team that was ranked number one in the country for part of that season....

... yep, he’s going to UCLA with his uncle MC Josh Smith and that great mentor of running backs Rick Neuheisel. Uh-huh, Scott didn’t really show that huge break away speed, the crazy jukes, or even straight knock you in the mouth mojo- he wasn’t the next Adrian Peterson as many thought. Yes sir, he bailed on teammates in mid year, on an already sinking ship. All that...
