Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that both Slipknot and Simon & Garfunkel will make their debut next week in the Rock Band Music Store of Downloadable Content (DLC) for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. These artists join the more than 390 bands currently available through the Rock Band platform.

Today, Harmonix and MTV Games blasted out two press releases about Rock Band DLC. Two! Why? Because they wanted to let you know that on December 15 (the 17 for PlayStation 3), more Green Day would be coming to the platform.
