The award for best team player definitely goes to Jessica Simpson. Though she and Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo have been broken up for four months, she still finds it in her heart to cheer him and his team on. by Kevin Blackistone Filed under: NFL , NFL Analysis PHILADELPHIA -- In the wee hours of Monday morning, with a blue Cowboys ' baseball cap pulled down snug on his noggin and a short sleeve T-shirt worn over a long sleeve one, Tony Romo looked like the boyish character we've come to see him as. He looked more like some guy who just finished playing a pick-up football game between fraternities...

Last season's game against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field left Tony Romo out of breath - literally. After the Birds' vaunted defense bruised and battered Dallas' highly scrutinized quarterback all game long in a 44-6 rout on Dec. 28, Romo collapsed in the shower, the result of suffering a cracked rib.

Revenge from last December? I hope so! Last night, the Cowboys played a fun game to watch and beat the Eagles, 20-16 ! The biggest difference was defense. Dallas kept Philadelphia from scoring! Above all, it was a different attitude. The 2009 Cowboys are not the 2008 team. I agree with Jean-Jacques Taylor : "This time, the players didn't trudge off the field with their heads hanging, ashamed of...

Bottom line: I'll still take McNabb over Romo, 100 times out of 100. He's tougher, physically and mentally, and he can still make things happen by avoiding the rush, keeping a play alive and throwing on the move. When Romo has to move, he still looks like Jim Carrey doing one of his rubber-legged characters. But there is more to it than that. McNabb turns 33 later this month and his supporting...

WHEN TONY ROMO has been good against the Eagles, he's been very, very good. In his two career wins over the Birds, the Cowboys quarterback completed 74.5 percent of his passes, averaged 11.6 yards per attempt, threw six touchdown passes and two interceptions, and wasn't sacked a single time.
