Source: 'Mutual interest' for Smoltz, Nats - FOX Sports John Smoltz and S tan Kasten got way back when both were with the Atlanta Braves, blah blah blah. Sure, there is interest, but if Smoltz signs with the Washington Nationals it will be because no contenders showed interest or they drove a dump truck full of money up to his house. I'd say the former is more likely than the latter....
