I find these scenes very relaxing and have to admit I often spend hours on Second Life while working just enjoying a lovely scene like this. I think there is great therapeutic value in spaces created in SL. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Amatsu%20Shima/174/168/23 Rober1236 Jua the Cyber Trekker of Second Life

... free framework from which no one makes profit, like say Linux, the English Language, Wikipedia, or Second Life; is the best framework for people to pursue their interests and goals. But I still have to admit that I am going to get a Windows 7 machine. But we all must make compromises. Rober1236 Jua the Cyber Trekker of Second Life

TMA- A Jewish Neighborhood in Second life Its just a hunch, but I think the first major personal religious ceremony that will be held in both SL and RL at the same time will be a Barmitza. Jews make up a very large part of the "geek class", along with Hindus, atheists, Wiccians, and New Agers the Geek society of America is populated by outside faiths with Practicing Catholics...

AIRE Ville Spatiale Why is it that the French make the best landscapes in Second Life? It must have something to do with they making some of the best painters. Second Life is still more lovely in Paris. Rober1236 Jua the Cyber Trekker of Second Life

Diabolus art space For a long time I studied gender identity of avatars as an indication of identity formation in Second Life. But recently I have come to see that in Second Life you are not just your dolls, but you are your doll houses as well. Rober1236 Jua the Cyber Trekker of Second Life

The dance floor at The Lost Gardens of Apollo In 2007 during the SL boom this space would have been crowded on almost any night with people looking to chat over Salsa music, but it seems Facebook and Twitter have taken all the dance partners away. Rober1236 Jua the Cyber Trekker of Second Life

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Midsomer%20Isle/138/102/42 I remember when Midsomer Isle was the most amazing SIM, but with some of the new stuff coming up the islands looks dated and in need of redevelopment. Those massive mountains just don't cut any more. Rober1236 Jua the Cyber Trekker of Second Life

SL Israel promises a comprehensive Israel experience, but like much of Second Life it does not come close. You can visit the Dome of the Rock though, which is the closest most non-Muslims will ever come. Rober1236 Jua the Cyber Trekker of Second Life

Anims The tropical paradise is such a over used illusion of Second Life one can see it as a kind of nightmare. The tropical island plays both roles on our imagination. It can never just be a place, a atoll of islands in the South Pacific is either a prison of a paradise, a place to be cast away at crawling with Japanese soldiers who don't know the war is over or topless girls whose fathers...
