View full size photo uploaded October 12, 2009 DE Tyson Jackson , the Kansas City Chiefs first round pick and #3 overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft, has three tackles through five games. Those are the only stats he's registered and I'm not saying that as a complaint or to make a point indicative of his play. The general idea behind draft Jackson was that he was that essential piece...

T yson Jackson stopped Googling himself years ago. Too many amateur coaches out there. Too much unsolicited advice. Too many harsh words. But his family? Jackson says they can’t help themselves. They plug his name into the box and read the words that bounce back. Sometimes they read the same kinds of things that turned Jackson away so long ago.

... up to the draft, so I know most of these will be way off, so calm down. Very few people saw Tyson Jackson going 3rd to the Chiefs or HeyBey going ahead of Crabtree. Let's do this. Round 1 1.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-15) - Ndamukong Suh , DT, Nebraska This is becoming a consensus pick for Tampa, though I've seen few mocks with them picking first. I could see them going after Russell...

... Carr: Should be a nice compliment to Flowers for years to come. It’s way to early to judge Tyson Jackson and Jarrod Page has taken a step backwards.Special Teams:Dustin Colquitt and Ryan Succop: While punters and kickers are not usually core players, these two deserve a mention here. These two positions should be filled for the next ten years. That all I see. Hopefully, a young player...

... Looney : DL Marlon Favorite, a former teammate of fellow Chiefs defensive linemen Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson has joined the practice squad. Favorite entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Carolina in 2009. He was released by the Panthers following training camp. Favorite is expected to join the club for practice this morning. Like I said before, this means that the Chiefs...

... after training camp. He played at LSU with current Chiefs defensive linemen Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson. While at LSU Favorite appeared in 30 games, registering 78 tackles and 4 sacks. I love the addition of Favorite. The man is huge (6-1, 317) and playing alongside Dorsey and Jackson again will only help his progress. Even if he never turns out to be anything, it’s the...

... Belcher and Cory Mays have both been making plays and leading the defense from the ILB position. * Tyson Jackson has been quiet (though, he did have a batted down pass yesterday)... but you can tell that the Defensive Line is playing better, as the rest of the defense makes plays and gets stops. * Alleman and Ndukwe have shown signs that they are AT LEAST solid depth on the OL...

... Schefter said in an ESPN chat that he believes every player on the Chiefs, save Matt Cassel and Tyson Jackson , is available, and that includes Dwayne Bowe. I understood the reasoning behind trading Tony Gonzalez, primarily his age and the compensation that was available at the time, but trading Bowe would take away Matt Cassel's No. 1 target. And, as we've previously discussed, major...

... move that's made me go 'Huh?' Let's rewind a bit. On August 7th, the Chiefs formally signed Tyson Jackson and sent out a press releasing announcing that LB Weston Dacus was released to make room for him. Except...At the end of training camp, he was placed back on the roster under injured reserve. No explanation for this move. We assume because he had missed the two days prior to his...

Looney on Dorsey Information about the coaching staff in Kansas City being "down" on Dorsey may be a bit outdated. .... In fact, Dorsey’s 275 snaps lead all Chiefs defensive linemen this season. DE Tyson Jackson has seen the second-most action by appearing in 194 total plays (38.8 avg.). Just ask yourself this. What would it take to trade the "can’t miss"...

LaCanfora also relayed the feelings of a few personnel people around the league in regards to Glenn Dorsey , who of course was the subject of many trade rumors prior to the draft last April. ... is signed (no indication that he will be), the Chiefs could send out an all LSU defensive line. Tyson Jackson and Glenn Dorsey on the ends and Favorite in the middle. Crazy, huh? We're not quite sure if this means Todd Haley is unhappy with the nose tackle position. It appears that he's at least willing to search for an upgrade, or maybe just depth to supplement the current tackles...
