The Star's Responsibility: Call In The Police (Part V)

I cannot understand the Windsor Star at all. I wanted to wait a bit to see if they would do the right thing and call in the authorities. Why has mini-Gord not yet released the name of the corrupt Councillor? Why is he protecting a criminal who is in breach of trust? He is not protecting a source but is covering up for someone who knowingly and with malice breached his/her duty to Windsorites...

Is This The Star's Lewenza Front Page That Vanished

No, no, no. It cannot be true! This could not possibly be the Windsor Star Front Page that wasn't! If it was, then it ranks up there with the Chicago Daily Tribune front page of "Dewey Defeats Truman." Go right now to the Mayor of Monmouth's BLOG and see it for yourself http://themayorofmonmouth.blogspot.com/2009/11/windsor-star-that-wasnt.html How did he get it---A brown envelope...

Why Do You Still Subscribe To The Windsor Star

I wonder if Gord, mini-Gord, Anne or the Star Editorialists will write a note congratulating the "softliners" on Council, the pro-Union types who are on the Transit Windsor Board ie Councillors Postma and Lewenza, for settling the Transit Windsor negotiations without strike on very favourable terms including this one if you can believe it: "The contentious issue...

Health Check's "trans-fat free" = 5% trans fat!

... supply" CNews, Apr. 5th, 2007 "There is no safe amount of trans consumption." The Windsor Star, Jun. 5, 2007 You know, while I realize that the removal of trans-fat can be challenging, given that Sally Brown's Heart and Stroke Foundation actually administers the Health Check program, what exactly is stopping them from creating nutritional criteria that are justifiably...

Breach of Trust: Call In The Police Now

There is now a dark cloud of suspicion hanging over Windsor Council thanks to Chris Vander Doelen of the Windsor Star. It is unhealthy. It is corruption within the highest governing body in our Municipality. It involves the public trust and those whom we have put in positions of authority in Government to do the right thing for us. Someone on Windsor Council is corrupt....

Mayor Francis Must Go (Part II)

Another day on Thursday and another day in which the Windsor Star failed its readers and subscribers again by not reporting on the Lewenza/Marra Ward 4 meeting. You see, dear reader, the Star is afraid of what happened not just because their reputation as a credible news source was destroyed. No, it is because they would have to report about Edgar's warts publicly. The myth would...
