The man who killed a young Pierce County couple over a $50 debt was sentenced to life in prison with possibility of parole Friday. Daniel Tavares, 41, was sentenced in Pierce County Superior Court after pleading guilty earlier to aggravated first-degree murder, as part of a plea deal.

They can urge all they want, look at the last time a convicted killer was put to death in this state, I would think Gary Ridgeway would be first in line....
