One of five Polk County teenage girls charged with beating a classmate is scheduled to be sentenced today after pleading guilty to misdemeanor battery. Mercades Nichols pleaded guilty in January in connection with the attack on Victoria Lindsay, which happened in March 2008 at her grandmother's home.
