We've referred many times on this blog to the Stupak Amendment, but actually it's the Stupak-Pitts Amendment and the "Pitts" is one Joe Pitts: a Republican in PA's 16th Congressional District. Pitts has a challenger: Lois Herr is no Blue Dog and she can use your help -- especially tomorrow -- at this rally: A rally against the Stupak-Pitts Amendment to the U.S. House Healthcare reform bill...
My Reflections on 40 Days for Life This Fall was the first 40 Days for Life campaign that I have participated in. I remember standing there on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood and maybe for the first time realizing the reality of abortion. I have always considered myself pro-life but I am not sure I ever took the time to really think about what happened to the babies and their moms and...
All the BS and nonsense about race by morons like MSNBC's Chris Matthews and courage by Planned Parenthood lap-dogs like Senator Dithering Dick Durbin fade like the memory of the scents Sweetheart Rendering at 34th & Ashland and the Skyway over Gary twenty years ago, when kids dedicated to the sweet science of boxing and school success come back to Leo High School. The Stupak amendment could very well end funding for medically indicated abortions across the board. It's too bad we can't make two sets of laws, one for the folks who want to turn back the clock to the days when every pregnancy could be a threat to a woman's life and another set for the rest of us. In the recent fooforall about the permit for a local Planned Parenthood clinic one woman
