My drive from Tucson, AZ to Escondido, CA began at 8:00 a.m. Besides a couple of pitstops along the way, I stopped for gas ($3.499 a gallon) at 11:00 a.m. in Fortuna, just outside of Yuma, AZ. Then a stop for human fueling in Yuma at the Cracker Barrel (breakfast at 11:45 a.m.). From there a straight shot to San Diego County, CA. Absolutely no flat tire issues. Isn't that amazing?!
