We wrote about the stunt pulled by the reported Baptist pastor Marty Parrish over the weekend here and here . In the second post, I reported that I spoke yesterday with Pastor Ron Kirkland of the West Memphis, Arkansas church with which Parrish claimed to be affiliated. Pastor Kirkland told me that Parrish is an inactive member of his church and that Parrish's claim to be a Baptist minister is erroneous....

Jason Baldwin, Damien Echols, and Jessie Misskelley, who were teenagers at the time, were arrested by police and found guilty of the crimes. Baldwin was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole.
