Dreher could move to a white-bread suburb like Plano, TX, or to a beatnik-ish smallville like Missoula, MT, or Asheville, NC. Well, Candler has the Eastern Orthodox church, allows for brief excursions into Asheville so you don't get too icked up by teh hippies, and has a glorious history of hating outsiders. Trouble is, Crunchy Rod would be an outsider too.
