Two brothers who may have fled to Mexico are wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at bar in northeast Houston last month. Alfonso Montalvo, 29, and Richard Montalvo, 19, are charged with murder in the death of Melvin Paz Sanchez, 23, of Houston, at the establishment in the 8800 block of Jensen about 3 a.m. on Oct. 5.

A toddler has died following a traffic crash on U.S. 290 last weekend in northwest Houston that left four people hospitalized. The 2-year-old boy was injured in the wreck, which occurred in the 11500 block of the Northwest Freeway about 1:45 p.m. Saturday, police said. Police said he was pronounced dead at Texas Children's Hospital on Sunday.
