The video of a couple's awesome dance-number wedding entrance I posted last week featured Chris Brown's song "Forever," used without permission. Instead of suing or having the video taken down, Brown's label opted to add a link to buy the track to the page. And made a truckload of money. So many of the record industry giants are publicly traded companies. Why aren't their shareholders howling for more...

An American couple decided to have a marriage ceremony with a difference. Kevin Heinz and Jill Petersen asked friends if they would mind helping out and they were delighted. Wonder if it will catch on here?

If you haven’t seen the Jill and Kevin wedding entrance dance yet then now’s the time to take a look. There are a few things to takeaway from it, to understand why and how it went viral. Uploaded less than two weeks ago as a way of sharing it to friends and family, the five-minute video is one of the biggest viral hits of the summer. It has attracted more than 13m views on YouTube alone, and has been...

The Office: An American Workplace TV wedding video spoofs YouTube wedding. The Office: An American Workplace wedding video, with the wedding of Jim and Pam, shows the actors spoofing some goofy, crappy wedding from YouTube. I’d feign interest or act like I care, but I went out of my way to ignore the original Jill and Kevin [...]

The Church of England has announced a new liturgy for a Wedding and Baptism in one service. There is already considerable comment about this new initiative, but perhaps an alternative approach might bring in more punters. Consider the following: Now that's what I call a Bridal March! Married on MySpace is nearing it's conclusion, but unofficial, user generated 'Married on YouTube' videos continue to be (considerably?) more entertaining! A few days ago a link to a YouTube video called ' JK Wedding Entrance Dance ' turned up in my Twitterstream. The 'JK Wedding Entrance' video is of a wedding from Saint Paul, Minnesota where, instead of using traditional wedding music, the entrance...

My thanks to Lee Rosen of Divorce Discourse for bringing my attention to this one. It seems that I was one of the few users of the internet who was not aware of the 'JK Wedding Entrance Dance' video. In case you are similarly out of touch, here it is: All very sweet, but somewhat out of place on a (former) divorce lawyer's blog. Much more to my taste is this parody:
