Here is video from Sunday where Seattle Seahawks fullback Owen Schmitt was getting fired up just before the game by hitting himself in the head with his own helmet. He was seen with blood streaming down his face, and it reportedly took several stitches to close the self-inflicted wound. Seattle went on to win the game 41-0 over Jacksonville.

Let’s just say the Patriots-Broncos game could make this a bitter affair. In case you missed it, the Patriots had plenty of chances to put the game away, but could not get the job done, with Tom Brady’s 4th quarter fumble proving particularly costly. Denver and their mustard striped unis move to 5-0 with the [...]

From The Sports Desk... Qwest Field, home to my beloved Seattle Seahawks, is a hostile joint. Known for the infamous "12th Man," a rabid, snarling group of fans that rattle the rafters with noise each Sunday. As yesterday's game against...

I’m usually not the gory type, but this is just so ridiculous it most be posted. Check out this video SI Hot Clicks linked to of how Seahawks fullback Owen Schmitt got himself all bloodied prior to the game with the Jaguars Sunday. Pure gross stuff: That video reminded me of John Henderson’s pre-game [...]

And it wasn’t because they schemed better, or because Matt Hasselbeck’s rib is better and he’s back, or because of the defense that stymied Jacksonville at every turn. No friends. It [...]

I know, I know, we skipped last week. Don't worry, forget about it! Once Tom Cable is arrested and thrown in jail we have a perfectly good article waiting for him to make up for it. It is important for the man at least gets a fair bit of leeway. We don't want to call bull on him and then have our own words shoved back into our faces because it turns out that the guy he punched is lying his socks off....

I think I want to start doing football posts every Monday morning. Not necessarily a reflection on the weekend's games [mostly because as of right now, I don't have much good to reflect on over here...] but just random stories about football. Keep an eye out for these suckers. Today's topic: Owen Schmitt, starting Fullback, Seattle Seahawks. I like him for a couple reasons: He's from NoVA, he crushes...

As the Seattle Seahawks’ fullback Owen Schmitt thinks he is a bad ass, and he showed everyone just how tough he is by smashing his own helmet into his skull. Well, after the blood rushed down his face, he looked more like a retard. Given all the studies that have been going around about the [...]
