This is a really disturbing incident. Rush was part of a team that wanted to buy an NFL team. Apparently because of his political views, people set out to block that purchase. Since there was no legitimate reason to block the sale, they created a racially tinted attack based on completely unsourced (read fabricated) comments that they said Rush has said. Sadly, It worked.
