TBS pause advertisements
TBS has started pausing TV shows right in the middle of the action to play mini-advertisements. Do not want.

Last night I was watching a rerun of Family Guy on TBS and right before the show went to commercial, this happened: See what they did there? I realize that Time Warner doesn't actually care about the people who...

Let me repeat that for you. He interrupts [...]

A friend writes: I saw something REALLY disturbing on TV and immediately thought of you*. Have you seen these TBS ads for the Bill Engval show? He literally walks onto the screen, pauses the show with a remote, tells you to watch his new series, and then restarts it. It’s insanely awful. Made [...]

They do something like this . (No, not "show Family Guy ," smartass.) But what would you expect from TBS? (Most networks cut bad language and nudity from movies, but as far as I know, TBS was the first channel to use "time compression" - in which scenes are cut and even sped up to make the films shorter.)
