"We do not want any Democrat, either in the hall or in the stadium or at home, walking away saying Well, you know, I'm just not satisfied. I'm not happy. Because that's what I'm trying to avoid."

Hillary Clinton won't rule out having her name placed into nomination when the Democratic delegates vote at their convention in Denver. This has been Clinton's stated position on several occasions recently. For example, she told supporters last week that she's looking for a "strategy" for her delegates to have their voices heard and "validated" at the Democratic National Convention, and did not rule...

The Democrats may have preemptively eradicated the threat of flying buckets of feces at the convention in three weeks, but can they stop the metaphorical shit from hitting the fan? A new video of Hillary Clinton speaking to a bunch of supporters shows there's a chance the nomination of Barack Obama might not be so picture-perfect. Clinton told the small gathering that she's negotiating a strategy...

They had some video of Hillary speaking to supporters, and tried to gin up some sort of controversy. Let’s be clear about [...]

So... a floor vote in Denver? Last week, Hillary was in California telling her supporters that while she supports her opponent, Barack Obama, and is aware that he has secured her party's nomination, she is going to demand that her delegates be permitted to vote for her in Denver. “I happen to believe that we will come out stronger if people feel that their voices were heard and their views respected....

In less than two weeks, Hillary Clinton's name will be formally put forth as a Democratic candidate for president -- and then she'll step aside for Barack Obama, who (as you know unless you stopped paying attention to politics sometime last fall) won the primary battle. "Since June, Senators Obama and Clinton have been working together to ensure a Democratic victory this November," said a joint statement...

I’m all for it, but I don’t think the liberals are going to care what I think. All partisanship aside, from a strictly tactical standpoint Hillary would be a lot more electable than Obama. This should be a Democrat election cycle, but by all measures Obama’s blowing it and he hasn’t even formally accepted the nomination yet.

Democratic officials are "scrambling" to figure out how to avoid embarrassment at the Democratic National Convention from Hillary Clinton supporters that are demanding a roll call vote. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama seem to disagree on the method of appeasing her supporters in order to unite them with the rest of the party again. In a recent answer to one of Clinton's ardent supporters, who asked...

Hillary considers a convention floor fight I actually, kinda, sorta, hope she does this. It’s not just that I think Obama’s been a huge and sorry disappointment (as all Scissorheads know, I thought Hillary and Obama to be the weakest and worst of all the candidates. No love lost for either of ‘em here…). And [...]
