Many of you have probably seen, heard or read about Barack Obama’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver last night. For those who haven’t seen it and who have 45 minutes to spare, a video of the entire speech is embedded above. Watching Barack Obama's powerful acceptance speech last night, I couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to have someone like that at the helm of NASA. After all, last fall in Manchester, New Hampshire Obama did send out...

I'll leave deeper analysis of the speech to those more partisan, but, as a piece of rhetoric, it was one of the most complete convention performances I've seen. It's worth a watch regardless of your politics (or nationality). The...

While I, too, am shocked and fascinated by the fact that McCain’s running mate is an inexperienced , staunchly anti-choice woman whom only he’s only met one time , let’s not forget...

We all sat around the room, postponing dinner for nearly an hour. Our ages ranging from 1.5 years to 87, tweenagers and a teenager, thirty-somethings and forty-somethings and sixty-somethings, and we all of us watched, only the 1.5 year old not riveted. I am so proud that this may be my daughter’s first recollectable memory. ShareThis
