Finally, someone in the media accurately accused and challenged a member of Congress over his involvement and complicity in the current financial crisis. As press member after press member has allowed Democrats to shamefully and erroneously blame the current crisis on George W. Bush, virtually nobody other than folks at Fox News has been willing to examine the role elected officials on the left side...

Come on, you know you want to watch. It's cathartic, and instructive for a certain presidential and VP candidate who need to make this part of their stump speeches (with a slightly more measured tone, perhaps)....

O'Reilly looks like he's about to have an aneurysm as he tries to pin the mortgage meltdown on Barney Frank. A snippet of the insanity: O'REILLY: You said it's not the best right now, but going forward this is going to be solid. FRANK: Right... O'REILLY: People lost millions. FRANK: I didn't say solid, I didn't say swell. You distort consistently. And you think ranting and raving... O'REILLY: All right....

Holy crap. We've seen Bill O'Reilly melt down many times before but this is insane. Barney Frank gives as good as he gets. (Maybe that's not the right way to word that.) Subscribe.

Fox News man Bill O'Reilly and homo-politico Barney Frank got into it big time during last night's The O'Reilly Factor, during which O'Reilly called Frank a "coward" and Frank called the pundit a "bully." The men were discussing our nation's current financial crisis. CONTINUED » Permalink | post a comment | Add to del.icio.us | Digg Post tags: Barney Frank, Bill [...]

Why would Barney Frank, or anyone interested in participating in a reasonable debate go on Fox at all, let alone on Bill O'Reilly's show? This is a Republican Party slaughterhouse and, although Barney handled himself very well... why bother? No Democrat should go on this asshole's program-- ever.

Fasten your seat belt, you're in for a bumpy ride when you watch this video of Bill O'Reilly losing what little cool he has with Congressman Barney Frank, accusing him of failing to properly oversee the banking industry. Bill points the finger at Frank for saying that failed lenders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were sound -- a claim O'Reilly says mislead Americans. "Come on, you coward!" Bill screams...

Frank is really good at standing his ground. O'Reilly had to keep ratcheting up, but it didn't work. He even resorted to accusing Frank of being less manly than -- of all people -- Cox. blog advertising blog advertising

Gee, isn't this interesting ? Unqualified home buyers were not the only ones who benefitted from Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank’s efforts to deregulate Fannie Mae throughout the 1990s. So did Frank’s partner, a Fannie Mae executive at the forefront of the agency’s push to relax lending restrictions. Now that Fannie Mae is at the epicenter of a financial meltdown that threatens the U.S. economy, some...
