Rick Dutrow bragged too damned much about his horse for his own good . Yes, Big Brown made the history books, but he did it as the only Triple Crown hopeful who finished last in the race. Nobody has any answers as to why Big Brown fizzled. I submit the horse decided to extract a little payback.

Be it fans watching the NBA Finals off-site , to the Tampa Bay Rays fighting amongst themselves to the predictable chaos at any big horse racing event, in this case the Belmont Stakes , it was an awful pugnacious weekend in the world of sport.
