A number of dancers from the Noyam African Dance Institute are in the Burkinabe town of Koudougou to participate in a multi cultural festival dubbed "Les Nuits Atypiques", which is set to attract artistes from diverse Africa countries.

The SNH Velo-club is representing Cameroon at the 21st edition of the International cycling tour of Burkina Faso. The competition begins today with fifteen teams of six riders each, in competition. Tega Martinien, Teguimaha Sadrack, Tamno Narcisse, Joseph Sanda, Tekou Damien and Duanla Flaubert of the SNH velo-club, are among the Africans taking part in the race that will end on 4 November 2007.

The World Bank's Board of Executive directors approved today a US$10 million International Development Association credit for Burkina Faso that will support the government's efforts to strengthen the delivery of public services in urban areas of the country, particularly in Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Koudougou, Banfora, Ouahigouya, and Kaya.
