That's my advice. We left the capital Vientiane for our short journey up north.. only to be faced with flooded roads mud slides and endless problems with something on the bus called the radiator.. By about 12 way there Ari and I were having the time of our live

Jump to the full entry & travel map Vientiane, Lao Peoples Dem Rep Aghhhh, I've finally decided to sit down and write another blog for everyone. It's been about 35 days since the last one and so much (yet so little) has happened. I've started receiving emails asking if I was alive and since I only have 22 days left of my trip, I thought that I might send one last entry to offer closure for all...

Jump to the full entry & travel map Vientiane, Lao Peoples Dem Rep Grabbed an hour by the pool this morning as nice and sunny. Jump to the full entry & travel map Vientiane, Lao Peoples Dem Rep Today Hels had booked herself into a massage parlour for a 3 hour pampering. I declined the offer and set off in search of the old Circus building as I had read in the local papers that there was a show there tonight and tomorrow. After walking for about an hour I eventually found the place. The building was sheped like a big tent but...

After leaving Luang Prabang we continued south to Vang Vieng. We met a great group of Brits in Luang Prabang and we all decided to travel together until we parted ways a week or so later. Vang Vieng is an interesting little town... There's not much to it but it seems to double in size due to all the backpackers.
