The NDP candidate in Durham is finally gone. The odd thing is that Jack Layton never fired him; even after he said he enjoyed the part in Schindler's List where the Nazis kill Jews! There is now no doubt (if there ever was) that if you want to defeat Bev Oda, you need to vote for Liberal Bryan Ransom in Durham. Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers Wireless Network

Bev Oda, Rob Anders, Jeff Watson, Deepak Obhrai, Dean Allison, Chris Warkentin... a veritable who's who of Con jobbers are among the sneak cheats papering this region and much of the rest of the country with franking mailers. In the last few weeks limo junkie and friend to media lobbyists, Bev Oda has papered my riding twice. She's been joined by Rob Anders, the far right, fundie loon who made his...

What could be more delightful than to pick up the mail only to discover a fresh batch of conservative party propaganda? Well lemme tell you, the most delightful thing about this new batch of franking abuse is to note that it comes from my bestest pal Bev (Our Lady of the Limousine) Oda. This bit of Conservative mail spam, abuse of privilege and taxpayer funded campaigning is a bunch of tough talking...

Thanks for stating the completely bleeding obvious there , Pete. Not to be outdone in this regard, International Co-operation Minister Bev Oda, called the conditions in Kandahar “challenging”… No kidding. What a team! Pure genius, these two.

Back in October of 2007 I did a bunch of Photoshops after closing The Wingnuterer, before re-opening it again. Now, some people used these images, but someone made an indirect request about two I did on Bev Oda and her trip to Afghanistan and her famous "Let's eat some Cake" statements. Anyhoo, here they are.

But really, do they need to lord it over their opponents while announcing what should be a wholly non-partisan initiative - sending aid to Burma? Read the press release put out by the Canadian International Development Agency (Bev Oda, prop.) this afternoon. Can you sense the ALL-CAPS "told-you-so" attitude when CIDA points out that this aid is travelling to Burma via ONE of our FOUR C-17s?

This cabinet minister can't disclose a limo expense to save her political life! Once again Bev Oda has screwed up with her cabinet minister expenses. This time it's limos — again! You'll recall that Oda spent about $5,500 in limo fees just after the Conservatives were sworn in as government. Oda failed to report that expense. This week we learn that Bev might have spent twice that amount on limo fees...

Our Lady of the Limo, sneaky Bev Oda has been tagged again for her propensity to indulge in the luxuries of the stretchy car. Oda takes us for a ride to the tune of thousands and thousands of dollars. The NDP's Charlie Angus found that Oda's transit extravagance went beyond the infamous $5,500 car fare for the Junos in 2006. Oda spent nearly $17,000 on limo rides in her party's first 15 months in office,...

The limo picked Oda up at her home at 8 a.m. about 80 kilometres west of Toronto, drove her downtown, hung around with her all day, drove her to a Conservative Party "boot camp" event in the evening, then drove her home after that and -- $1,300 later -- dropped her off at 11 p.m. back at her home.... The federal New Democrats, relying on invoices and receipts obtained under Access to Information requests,...
