Who can forget Silken’s incredible comeback in the heart testing and muscle tearing sport of rowing? Some people had written her off after a training accident which had shattered her leg in crippling fashion. I guess somebody forgot to tell her that her athletic career should have been over. She wasn't prepared to live with that. In a legendary 'agony and ecstasy' journey doctors pieced her leg...

Earlier this week, I posted on the Liberals first reaction to Bill C-46, part one of the lawful access package. Rather than focusing on substantive issues, the immediate response was "what took you so long," an obvious effort to appear even tougher on crime. C-46 was sent to committee for further study on Tuesday. Immediately afterward, C-47, the other half of lawful access came up for second...

I am gald that HM PM will be visiting the land of my birth and China. I think doubling trade and encourageing free trade with India would be an excellent idea. I am less sure about trade with the chinese commies. Unlike pseudo chretien and his ilk, I don't think selling one's soul for trade with the chinese commies is a good idea. China must be engaged , but human rights issues must certainly be addressed....

That's the race shaping up in Okanagan -- Coquihalla with Ross Rebagliati seeking the Liberal nomination in the riding currently held by Stockwell Day. I am supportive of anyone who wants to seek public office, regardless of their political affiliation. I am certainly supportive of Ross Rebagliati ambition if that's what he wants to do. My questions here are for the LPC or I guess or more accurately...

Canadian snowboarder and Olympic medal winner Ross Rebagliati plans to beat a new opponent: Stockwell Day. Rebagliati will seek the Liberal nomination on Monday in the Okanagan-Coquihalla riding in central B.C. And why not? He's at least as sexxxy as Gerard Kennedy . And Canadians are a forgiving people. (By the way, since no one else is running for the nomination currently, I imagine he has a good...
