One interesting news item is that the Irish Green Party is due to have its conference this weekend, and one possible outcome is that they decide to leave the coalition with Fianna Fail and the Progressive Democrats. At the moment the Dail Eireann is a hung Parliament- with the Fianna Fail Teachta Dala for Sligo-North Leitrim, Jimmy Devins and Eamon Scanlon, resigning the Fianna Fail whip a few weeks...
