According to this article , Turkey has arrested and sentenced the founder of a creationist organisation. It seems to me that this is a sign that the Turkish state is still taking a hardline towards followers of certain religious beliefs. Although I disagree with creationism, I think people have a right to espouse it and so I do not think it is just to imprison him.
