I’m traversing London on my way back from Tyne and Wear. Getting onto the underground at King’s Cross is this blind man, with the assistance of a London Underground staff member. She tells us all to wait, guides him onto the train, and says goodbye to him from the platform. He declined the offer of a seat from a woman on the train. I found myself standing next to him (first photo above) and struck...
