CBS: Israel's Economy grew by 5.3% in 2007

GDP per capita rose in 2007 by 3.4% and reached an all-time high of NIS 91,000. The Bank of Israel expects the economy to grow by 3.3-4.4% in 2008. The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) reported last week that in 2007 economic growth totaled 5.3%, and business product grew by 6.1%.
